  • A daily schedule of cleaning either with an auto scrubber (with a soft poly brush) and/or sweeping using a gritless compound agent and a dust mop wil give optimal results.
  • To add additional longevity to the floors, burnish weekly using a high speed burnisher to revitalize the shine.
  • Deep scrub using a a degreaser to remove any soils that the soap is not removing. Removing any buildup that the soap has left behind.
  • Spot cleaning with degreaser can be used as needed.

Three Causes of Shine Deterioration:

Chemicals to Not Use

  • Products containing citrus (de-limonene)
  • Butyl (found in some degreasers - including Simple Green)
  • Ammonia Compounds

Abrasion

  • Dirt left on the surface
  • Incorrect, stiff brushes
  • Sweeping compound containing grit

Doing Nothing

  • Using water only will only redistribute dirt
  • Not cleaning at all
